Castanheiro do Norte ja Ribalonga Hotellit

”Everything was great except the shower was a little annoying since you had to press every 45 seconds or so because it would turn off automatically. The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast ham and cheese, bread and cereal. Other than that the staff was friendly it was clean and it was in a cute little village.”

”The property is extraordinary. The rooms are large, comfortable, and very tastefully decorated. The view of the Duoro Valley from our room and from the entire property really are magical. It would be hard to imagine a more beautiful setting. The common kitchen, with Honor Bar, is a great convenience. The dining room is tastefully austere ( some quiet background music would warm things up). Throughout the property are many comfortable private areas to relax both inside and out. The beautiful...

”Stayed three nights in deluxe cabin with beautiful view over wine yards and old village. Really peaceful place with reach to good walks and wine tastings. Breakfast, even on northern countries standards was excellent with a lot of fresh fruit.”

”First of all big thanks to Tony, Marco and Ana. Although the Casa itself is excellent, you 3 make it so much more :) Your hospitality and personal service made us feel like part of your family. Everything just works. Great room, awesome views, nice breakfast and delicious dinner with local wines. If your staying here, please also check their tours. We took the 1 day Douro tour and it was beautiful.”

”Our stay at Casa de Casal de Loivos exceeded our expectations. The Douro Valley views are breathtaking, especially from the terrace right outside our door while enjoying a glass of Portuguese wine. We enjoyed delicious, authentic Portuguese dinners both evenings, served family-style around a communal table with eight other guests. Sharing wonderful food, wine, and conversation with travellers from around the world made for a truly memorable dining experience. Bernardo and Paulo’s excellent wine...
