”My family and I loved strolling the property admiring all of the various trees and plants while enjoying the views of the sea and Mt Etna. The owner even makes his own marmalade with fruit grown on the property that was served to us for breakfast. Property is quiet and was the perfect distance for our meeting with our Mt Etna tour company. Also enjoyed going to nearby Riposte that was a short drive away. Only issue was not being able to connect to WiFi but hey, that's not why you visit Italy.”

”I put easy parking because you will park in a lot and then take a free shuttle into town. However, then you have to tow your luggage around to Casa Turrisi and up a large flight of stairs to the reception up to your room on a tight staircase. The room was small but comfortable with a very compact bathroom that could use a good bleaching on the shower grout. It is quick walk to everywhere in town. We found a great breakfast place right on the square 2 minutes away. I do have to add that John was...

”For the price, it's 5-star. Very clean, no frills. AC works! There's soap and towels. Wonderful view from the common area balcony on the 2nd floor (no views from room)! They have limited parking space inside the compound, which was extremely helpful! The owners were sweet and helpful. We had a bit of communication issue at first, which was easily solved once face-to-face with google translate through phone.
