”Fantastic location and lovely apartment that made us feel like we awere really enjoying a Roman experience. Very helpful at providing detailed directions from airport on public transport. Provided lovely welcome food/Coffee/juice/milk/wine. Very quiet apartment but you step outside and are right in the midst of the bustling Trastevere area with numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance. Very centrally located for touring Vatican/Colleseum also. Hope we can return there some day.”

”The property has a shared kitchen where they let me stow my bags before check-in time. My room was lovely and very clean. The bathroom was big, with both a large tub and separate great shower. Espresso machine in the room. Comfortable bed. I found the location convenient to many areas. I used the Lime bicycles often and they were available nearby. I did come home late in the evening to find the building entrance closed. But another guest was also arriving then, and staff responded to her...

”Pleasant, comfortable apartment. Unfortunately, it was 90 degrees F and the air conditioner in the bedroom went out and didn't get fixed until after we left. Otherwise the place was great.”

”Alberto was fantastic and very welcoming. His home is perfect and in a fantastic location in Rome. He suggested several "local" cafés that are rooted in classic Roman heritage and we were able to try one of them and it was great! He was attentive and readily available if something was amiss. A shout out to Alberto's grandfather passion for the artwork. Grazie mille!”

”Great location, beautiful old house right next to the botanical gardens and great restaurants. Walking distance to the major attractions. My room in the ground floor was spacious, had windows to the back garden, and was blessedly silent and cool. But it really was a little damp, even if the weather was hot. Sadly the fantastic old ceiling beams were painted dull white, as were all the walls, too. ”

”Pros. Excellent location. Most major attractions and a good variety of restaurants were within walking distance. Quiet street with bedroom at the back free from light and noise. Apartment was clean with basic furnishings. Kitchen also equipped for light meal prep. Host responded promptly. Cons: this property is not for anyone with mobility issues as there are three flights of steep narrow stairs to lug your luggage up. Door lock was very finicky and difficult to unlock and lock.
