”The location is the key, but overall expensive for the price. When cruise ships are gone Roseau gets extremely quiet and you would do better somewhere else. For example, the nice hotel bar was closed.”

”I would suggest that they upgrade to elevators. Walkin up those small steps /stairs with your luggage was inconvenient. The locks on the door were outdated and hard to open. But it seems safe. Clean room, comfy bed and fresh towels was available. The hotel room was just like in the picture .”

”I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely nice and made me feel very welcome throughout my visit. The view from the property is absolutely awesome — especially during sunset. Watching the sun go down from my room (or the hotel balcony) was truly unforgettable. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!”

”Very nice hotel just a walking distance away from restaurants and city center. Everything works just well and travel desk was more than helpful. Also the pool area and hotel bar were nice. There is a grill buffet on mondays with live music.”

”There was a mix-up about the room description, but the staff made it right. The restaurant bar staff were fun and attentive. Air-conditioning was truly a blessing! Balcony was a perfect view of the ocean and we got a bird's eye view of ocean wildlife coming ashore in the morning at breakfast. Room was clean and adapters were provided for electronic device usage and charging. I would definitely visit here again.”

”Clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location. My room had a mini fridge and microwave, with dishes for easy eating in. Warm and friendly service, easy walking to town. Nice view of the river. I would stay at Narakiel's again!”

”Berkey himself is a gracious, helpful, and thoughtful host. His communications are excellent and once there, he will be there for you. He attends to details and has pride in this hideaway. It requires a walk up ~40 steep steps but once on top, your are in a beautiful valley with wildlife and jungle sounds. Accommodations are basic but sufficient, if you are looking for an experience more like Dominica than a luxury hotel, Berkey's place is fine. Access to the property is straightforward and...
