”Lovely comfortable B&B with a very friendly owner. Our bedroom was perfect...comfortable bed, large clean seperate bathroom with a roll top bath overlooking the garden & countryside beyond. We had fresh milk for drinks, kept in a mini fridge & a wide variety of drink choices. We enjoyed chatting with Martin, one of the owners. Parking is on the roadside...plenty available. The town is easy enough to walk, but there is also plenty of parking available in Castle Cary, the interesting local town.”

”Stayed for 3 nights. Parking at the rear always available, From 'check in' onwards the staff were pleasant, helpful and professional, including carrying our bags to the first floor room. The double room was quite spacious, with it's own short 'hall' to the bath/shower room and door to the main hotel landing, so you enter into a short hall and not straight into the bedroom, nice touch. The room was clean, nicely set out, comfortable and well equipped. The only downside to the room was creaky...

”We arrived at Hawk house and were greeted by a laminated sign that explained how to check in. We called the number, but there was no response. We called the bell (several times) and eventually a young lady came to check us in. She showed us to our room and was helpful. The room was a twin room (we had booked a double).
