”We just wanted a little place all to ourselves that felt warm and homely and this place did that for us. The log fire keeps the cottage toasty warm and the autumn leaves all around us was beautiful. The steps up can be slippery in the wet but that was to be expected with where the cottages were and with all the trees surrounding them. ”

”What is not to like about this property? It's cosy, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and easy to contact but respected our privacy. Complimentary breakfast items and wine were provided along with fire wood and cooking staples. The bed was super comfortable. This place is in such a beautiful setting with an idyllic view over the valley. We sat for hours on the deck listening to the sounds of nature around us, watching the sun come up...

”Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre.”

”The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay.”

”Overall the house was beautiful, our host Jane was there to greet us & pass on info we needed to know, everything we needed was provided & more, the pantry was stocked with more than we expected. Gas fire was amazing, so was the decor, comfortable living for our girls weekend away of 4 Netflix was a bonus, & location was also good. would highly recommend. ”The property was excellent and very clean. Amenities were very good and comfortable beds and pillows. Heating in lounge was cosy and rooms had individual aircon units which were independently managed. Very well equipped kitchen and great a great position. Nice to have a backyard area to bbq and enjoy. I'd definitely go back for another visit.”
