This is McLean Falls and it's located in the Catlins, one of the most beautiful areas in New Zealand. Mclean Falls is the tallest and perhaps the most spectacular waterfall in this region and officially reaches 22 metres in height, but this just refers to the main drop of the falls from the very top to where it meets its first water pool, it then descends for many more metres over a series of terraces. #green

Beautiful forest walk (30-40min return) resulted in this magnificent view. The best waterfall in the Catlin's National Park in my opinion and a must-do if you're in the area!

The petrified forest at Curio Bay. It's just a small town with one attraction. Here you can see the forest at low tide. In the evening you can spot some yellow eyed penguins. There is also a very nice beach.
