We had an unforgettable stay at Okaeri Hotel in Calistoga. The service was truly top-notch—warm, attentive, and personal from start to finish. The beautifully designed Japanese-themed hotel offered a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a Napa Valley getaway.
One of the highlights was the three-course breakfast, which exceeded all expectations. The chef, who was also the former owner of the hotel, prepared an exquisite soufflé and quiche that were both flavorful and beautifully...

”Loved the vibe and the room was nice. The vibe around the hotel was healthy and chill. The bar has good drinks and the kitchen with outdoor seating is perfect for lounging in the sun. Our favorite part was the filtered water available in the lobby and the mineral bath soak pool and cold water bucket dump feature. We will be back for sure. ”

”I loved this hotel! Lovely room, comfortable bed perfect location. Calistoga is such a cute little town we enjoyed our stay, and will plan to stay longer next time. I will say that the claw foot tub/shower combo was a bit uncomfortable in that the plastic shower curtain was so "bunchy" that it was difficult to keep it from touching you while you showered. ”For the star rating and cost, this property was a great find. Pool (Mineral), hot tub, sauna, plenty of places to sit outside. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room itself had a fridge, coffee maker, and beds were comfortable. Very clean. ”
”Great little spot on the Main Street, was here for a little staycation. Can’t really beat the price, great location and restaurant downstairs is good and has a lovely outdoor patio with good food, drinks, fire pits, and live music. Didn’t notice when booking there’s shared bathrooms but didn’t bother us.”
”Everything was lovely. Should probably warn people about the size of the parking lot. Thankfully we bought my car. Had we brought my husband’s truck, or anything bigger than a compact car. We would not have fit in the parking spaces. ”
”What a great place to stay. Sadly we were in town for a funeral and just needed a quiet, relaxed, comfortable place for a few nights. While the buildings and rooms are a bit dated, Roman Spa staff were friendly and helpful, could walk to everything in town from the hotel, had amazing foot massages at the spa, pools were clean and heated, room was clean as can be with a kitchen that had everything needed to cook or to store leftovers from restaurants. The grounds were lovely and well maintained....
