”Great experience! Would have just hoped to have more space to open luggage. Also the space the toilet had, would not fit a larger person than average asian, it was tiny.
The room we had was also really made for lovers only, as there’s no privacy for shower etc., the other will see and hear everything.
Loved the room service system they had, easy to use if needed!”

”We enjoyed our stay! Hotel was perfect and room was so big and you felt you can move freely, and if you take room with city view it will be all worth it.
Room was also very clean and we loved our room coffee, it was also one of the most comfortable bed ever!
Hotel was located in perfect area with your own elevator entry to the mall and Mtr-train was really close. We enjoyed walking so we walked to victoria harbour, admiralty etc.
I would def recommend this to anyone.

”I cannot rate this property high enough. It was exactly what I needed for my 10day stay in HK. The staff was incredibly attentive, generous, pleasant as well as beyond competent. From thoughtful gestures, to always being helpful, the staff really made our stay a wonderful experience. We stayed in a 1br Suite- House of Astor. It was quite spacious and comfortable for the duration of our trip. I must commend the staff again, the experience was quite incredible. ”

”Ystävällinen hlö-kunta, siisti hotelli kaikkinensa. Pieni uima-allas baarin yhteydessä. Todella kova sänky, tuli olkapää, lonkka ja alaselkä kipeäksi ensimmäistä kertaa ikinä missään hotellissa. Yhteydessä messukeskukseen mikä oli nyt se tärkein näkökulma hotellia valitessa. Snadisti huono ilmastointi ja siksi kuumahko huone. Lämpimän suihkuveden tulo kesti n. 3 minuuttia (18 krs) että vedenhukka on valtava. Hinta-laatu-suhde kyllä muutoin loistava. Hyvä sijainti. Laadukas kosmetiikka (Balmain)....

”Extremely pleasant staff all over in the hotel, very helpful and smiley faces. Only small critical word is about the breakfast; I was expecting more 'surpriseful' breakfast inside these great wall and interior design. Who eats CornFlakes for breakfast? Where was house-made muesli or granola? You see ten's of different fruits out on the market and all you got was watermelon - how unjust is that?”

Miinukset tulevat huoneesta: suihkun jälkeen vesi ei haihdu suihkunurkkauksen karheista kivilaatoista koko päivänä ja ummehtunut haju leijailee joka paikassa. Ilmastoinnin säätäminen ei auttanut mitenkään. WC:n ovi aukeaa itsekseen jos wc:n sisäpuolella ei ole kukaan sitä lukitsemassa. Seinän takana tai yläkerrassa meneillään mittava remppa, porasivat pitkin päivää ja...

”While the check in process was good, the initial room did not have air-conditioning working and that put me off after a long flight. Glenn - the night manager - was very prompt in changing to another room, that was very comfortable. After that the service - impeccable. The housekeeping staff were so nice getting me ice every few hours and always smiling. I never thought any hotel could match Mandarin but this one does the job and better. The hot and cold plunge pools at gym were handy to soothe...

- One thing we didint like that swimming pool was closing at 18:00 which was very early and those times we were always out, so we couldnt use swimming pool at all. They should be open until 21:00 atleast"

"This towering hotel near Wan Chai MTR station offers nice views of the city. Our 38th-floor accommodation provided spectacular cityscapes.
Location is undoubtedly the property's strongest asset, making it an excellent base for exploring Hong Kong's attractions and business districts. The room was generously proportioned by local standards, offering welcome breathing space in a city known for compact living. However, the interior shows signs of age – particularly in the bathroom, where fixtures and installations need updating.
Service runs efficiently but impersonally. Staff members execute their duties professionally, though without the warmth that might make a stay memorable.
Given the reasonable pricing and prime location, this hotel represents solid value in an expensive city. While it may not dazzle with contemporary styling, it delivers the essentials: space, views, and convenience.
