”Antonella is a lovely woman who speaks a little English. We were all able to understand each other with no problem. She was welcoming and gave us a lovely glass of wine from her vineyards when we arrived. Her surroundings are beautiful with seeing olive trees and vineyards and the town of Certaldo. Our room was big , very clean and bathroom was great. I would totally recommend going to her place . They also give tours of their vineyards and olive oil factory. I wish we could have stayed another...

”The check-in was a problem. Initially no one was there for check-in and we had to just sit and wait at 2:45 PM. Once someone arrived the individual had the personality of a blank sheet of paper and provided about as much information. There was no restaurant and initially the entire castle was locked down. We drove off site to have dinner. The room was pretty big, but the bathroom had the smallest shower ever, and that includes the one on my destroyer in the US Navy! The room itself was also NOT...
