”We rented this (upstairs) unit and the main level unit, shared with friends. Ideal setup for traveling as 2 couples. The house is clean and welcoming. Furniture is comfortable and there are many outside chairs and lounges. Ms. Flor met us for easy(early) check-in and explained the use of the "off-grid" systems. ”Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!”

”The grounds were very well maintained on a daily basis. Landscaping is wonderful, large trees to provide shade, house iguanas, and give a Belize jungle vibe. We met a lot of fun people while sharing the kitchen area. Our host cared for our needs, ranging from our golf cart rental to restaurant suggestions. She invited us to share a meal and visit. The room was cleaned regularly. Our shower was outside under a tree. Which was pretty cool.”

”The unit itself was nice - clean and well maintained. The office & Maintenence staff was friendly, but overall the resort needs a lot of upkeep. The thatch roofs on all the palapas are disintegrating. There are too few pool deck chairs and many are broken. We went to sit on one and the wood broke thru before we ever even fully sat on it. I was surprised for the cost the Maintenence level. But I do think it’s hard to maintain property in Belize bc it’s hard to get replacement materials. It was...
