”The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children.”

”Bay towers has a great view of the sea. The night time breeze was priceless. You didn’t need a/c or a fan at night. There were 2 restaurants within walking distance. The Happy Lobster was fantastic! Hotel is on the north side of Caye Caulker and it’s very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.”

”What a beautiful place. Very clean, spacious condo with breath taking view. We had no idea what we were doing. ”The service and hotel condition was excellent but the condition of the beach area was very disappointing-- you had to walk over concrete that has sand scattered on it to reach a beach that was unusable because it was eroding into the sea and was filled with seaweed. I understand there will be an upgrade this year but it will be too late for me.”

”The resort was nice, the meals were very good but a lot my expensive than I thought they would be. Because we didn't have cell service we didn't feel comfortable leaving the resort because we could get lost and the city was very dirty with garbage everywhere. The bathroom was rusty and you had to leave the bathroom door closed at all times to avoid heating up the entire cottage. The cottage was cute though. ”
