Fantastisch uitzicht.

We couldn’t find our accommodation because nobody was there to explain us how it works or where the key is until we found a men who lives there who phoned a few people to help us. The accommodation is beautiful! We loved it but more information beforehand is necessary.

Tranquility on our doorstep

Very tranquil and the jacuzzi is a must even though it is at an extra cost.

Relaxing Weekend

Had a lovely relaxing weekend with my family at the Wolfkop Nature Reserve. We have enjoyed some lovely walks and loads of quality time together in the jacuzzi with the kids. I can definitely recommend this for a break away from the rat race.

Wolfkop review

There were a lot of mice in the roof that kept us awake the whole night. Had to pay extra for jacuzzi. Location and view excellent. Quiet location (except for mice).

Cottage in the nature

We really enjoyed the cottage in the nature. It was wonderful to get away from the city. But, you have to pay extra cost R75 per day for using uncapped wifi(I asked to Expedia customer service about this wifi policy and Expedia said "it is free", but they demanded extra cost) and R100 per day for using the jacuzzi. It need to be replaced some bulbs. I think that the most worst thing was shower facility. Anyway, it is good value for the price you pay.

Wolfkop. False advertising and bad service.

My wife and i booked and payed days in advance and upon information received from the website specifically requested a crib for our 9 month old baby. Upon arrival we were informed that they do not even have such facilities. On top of this, the tv was not in working condition and the jacuzzi was filled with thousands of miggies. Despite attempts to have at least the tv fixed, we contacted the owner (Werner) who clearly has no idea of how to treat clients fairly and with the respect deserved. He was not even aware that the crib/infant bed was advertised on the website. He however offered to build one the next day from scrap wood. (Really?????) Further to this, the cupboards were filthy, light bulbs were missing or not working, the braai grid is falling apart, the front door needs to be forced open and closed etc etc. I write reviews on family orientated self catering establishments and this seems to be one of those places where hardly any maintenance is done and where the money is more important than the client's comfort and well being. Wolfkop will and cannot be recommended to anybody seeking cleanliness and decent service as it does not even help raising concerns with the owner.

Serenity in the bush

Would have been the most wonderful experience but we could not use the Botterboom chalet because of the conditions if the road since we only had a family car and not a 4×4. Would have been nice to have that information ahead of time. The offered us a free night for future use. That settled it.

Nice relaxing time in nature

Good location and value for money. The cottage was well exquipped, clean and comfortable. Loved the inside fireplace and outside braai, and comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Only reason we dont rate it higher is some maintenance issues. This was our second stay on both times we had problems with the water supply and was very dissapointed with the jacuzzi. On our first stay it first didnt heat and then after it was fixed it kept on heating up termostat not working. Second time only two jets was working very weak and heated only slighty, so we experienced it than nothing more than a large bath tub with mild temp which we couldnt use since the weather was too cold. Also when you book with them directly, you will get a email telling you to wait for someone there to contact you before paying, wich they dont do and the next email you will get is to tell you your booking was cancelled due to non payment! Happend to us twice, didnt even send their bank account details for payment. So rather book through a booking agency, much easier and booking is guaranteed.Overall we enjoyed our stay in nature very much despite this. Advise we can give is go there to getaway and relax, not for the jacuzzi.
