”Certainly, here's a more concise and less colloquial version: Abbiamo prenotato una stanza su Expedia per marzo, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo scoperto che l'hotel era chiuso e non avrebbe riaperto fino a metà o fine maggio. Il proprietario, Alessandro, ci ha gentilmente permesso di soggiornare in una stanza non pulita da tempo ma in condizioni accettabili.
