âFunkyPlace is funky. The common areas are nice and inviting. Beach is right behind the hostel. There is one girl in particular working at the place that is super nice, speaks good english and is very helpful. The room was quite basic but we really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom that was like extended private garden to the room. No aircon and the wifi didn't work in the room but in well in the restaurant.â
âWe really like hotel and Lovina. Lovina is really quiet (in low season) place, friendly and helpful people, lot of things to do and if you want there is also place to have parties. Hotel is modest but nice, peaceful and the staff are the BEST! We really think that hotel is our Bali home <3â
âThe place is very nice with a small beautiful garden. The view from the restaurant terrace is amazing. The food is good. I really liked the special tea they have. The rooms are nice and clean, with a small terrace with a table and chairs. The staff was very friendly. The location is very good for trekking tours through the rice terraces and to the waterfalls. You can book different activities in the homestay. We went for the guided tour rice terraces and waterfalls and it was a great experience.â
âWe booked a family room and wow it was huge, we only had a couple of nights as we were moving down to Kuta after our Balinese frriend married. Had our own courtyard. Pool was lovely, food was nice. Staff friendly, Breaky was a choice of set menu Indo, American, English, Continental but very nice. A fair way out of town but there is a shuttle for Rp30 000 that will take you and pick you up.Right on the beachâ
âLook, we loved our stay here. We wanted an authentic experience surrounded by real Bali. Real locals, not overrun with tourists, good food and away from the traffic and bustle. It was perfect. We met with our local Balinese friends here that were made to feel very welcome. The staff were authentically friendly, no touristy pretense.
