”We were greeted by Maxim, who took great care to show us around, explain things, take us to our room etc. We had 3 nights of peace and quiet and access to the beautiful pool. Lucie looked after us splendidly for our first breakfast & I can't begin to tell you how impressed were with our quarters. Being just 10 rooms, it's geared for relaxation & a little luxury. While we were happy with all food options, I suspect the lack of prepared cooked food for dinner, may be not to everyone's liking. But...
”First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem.

”I spent 6 nigts at Appart'hôtel Victoria Garden in Bordeaux to participate in a course at the university. Facilities at the were fairly new, nice and neat. I could also control the temperature (heating) in my room. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful, although I had to ask on two consecutive days for a smoke detector to my room as there was only an empty base left on the ceiling. I recommend the hotel to anyone who does not need 24 hour reception service.”
