  • Hiljainen järvipaikka odottaa tätä perheystävällistä loma-asuntoa, joka sijaitsee aivan Locke-järven rannalla! Tämä 4 makuuhuoneen, 2-kylpy lomapaikka voi majoittua suureen 16-ryhmään, ja siinä on oma venelaituri, 6500 neliöjalkaa yksityinen ranta, uima-alusta ja kelluvat lautat! Päivän jälkeen järvellä käpertyä pellettiuunin sisäpuolelle pitääksesi lämpimänä tai pysyä ulkona söpöllä grillilounaalla järvinäkymäisellä pergolalla, jota seuraa paahtuneen palokaukon yli paistetut s'mores!

    Järvinäkymät, korkeat katot, moderni maalaistalo sisustus, viihtyisät kalusteet ja runsaasti luonnollista valoa korostavat tätä 2 328 neliöjalkaa kotoa. Nauti jonkin aikaa seisokkeista olohuoneen sohvilla, kun suosikki elokuva toistetaan taulutelevisiossa. Kun rentoudut, pellettiuuni pitää varmasti kaikki mukavana ja paahteisena.

    Kun nälkä iskee, täysin varustetussa keittiössä on ruostumattomasta teräksestä valmistetut laitteet, runsaasti vastatilaa ja kaikki tarvitsemasi ruoanlaittovälineet! Kun kaikki on valmis, vie ateriasi ruokapöydälle tai 4 hengen aamiaisbaariin hyvää ruokaa ja parempaa seurata varten. Tarvitsetko vain välipalan? On mustikka poiminta muutaman korttelin päässä!

    Pikemminkin ruokailla ulkosalla? Vie ateriasi lämmitettyyn pergolaan tai keitä ulkona kaasugrillin avulla. Nautittuaan muutaman lasillisen viiniä auringon laskiessa järven yli, heitä puuta palokuoppaan paistamaan s'mores tähtitaivaan alla.

Really spacious home, in a nice neighborhood. We came here in the winter and it was beautiful, but I can’t imagine how beautiful it is in the summer with the lake right out in the backyard.

Wonderful outdoor area for a large family to spread out and enjoy the water and the views; outdoor dinners and grilling. Great for dogs with privacy and good boundaries. Very communicative friendly host, going above and beyond. We managed to make the space inside be 5 bedrooms with the area off of the kitchen having trundle beds. Great for kids. Big kitchen. Our family enjoyed our stay immensely.

I had an incredible experience at this property! It truly has everything you could ask for. The space is perfect for accommodating a great group, with ample room and a lively atmosphere. The lake access adds an extra layer of enjoyment, and the patio is absolutely amazing. I couldn't recommend it more highly!

My favorite week of the year

This was our 2nd year staying at your cottage and we already booked for next year- The outdoor space is what keeps us coming back- It is perfect for our family I was disappointed when we saw all the ants that were in the house especially the kitchen- we did buy ant traps and it did resolve this-

Property is beautiful! House is very roomy and beds are comfortable. Host is great and very responsive. We had issue with the fridge and he was quick to send a neighbor over to help us out. We were able to get it to function properly but host checked in 1st thing in the morning and was ready to have new fridge brought over that day if we needed it.We had a great time!

Christmas in Barnstead

Arrived after 4 as instructed (would have liked to arrive earlier, but our host never answered our request).Found the place heated and with 2 Xmas trees, which was wonderful. All in all it was a great stay, but would have liked to communicate with the owner.

Great getaway! The property was clean and ready for guests. Very spacious property, plenty of beds, plenty of seats both inside and out. The kids had a great time playing in the beach. We did not use, but there were paddle boards and kayaks ready and available for use. We did use the grill, plenty of propane already there. Plenty of seasoned firewood for the fire pit. At check in, we were not able to get the front door code to work, but the garage code worked perfectly, so not a big deal. Would absolutely stay again!

Awesome Barnstead, NH Lakefront Vacation

Family of 10 had an awesome time at this great lakefront home on Locke Lake in Barnstead, NH. House was awesome; the backyard was amazing. New trellis on the private beach. Gazebo on the patio. Private dock, kayaks, canoe and peddleboat. Kids loved using the slide and floating trampoline. Highly recommend!

Nice house with great potential

The house was spacious and well stocked. Not enough toiletries for our large group but I didn’t expect that. Kitchen well stocked. We had a heatwave while there and overworked the a/c but owner was able to help us get it going again so he was good at communicating with when it mattered the most. The outdoors is a good area but could have used some cleaning up in advance. Spider webs and the like. Just felt not the most unkept but some could argue it’s an outdoor area at a lake. Don’t think it’s quite for us that we’d return but the sunset and water toys (kayaks, canoes, etc) were a big hit with the teens.

Would highly recommend this rental and plan to return next summer if possible.

We were 6 adults and 3 teens in this lovely home with enough space and seating to accommodate all of us comfortably. The house was very clean and was true to the description. Having plenty of seating outside was wonderful and the option of being in the sun or the shade was a real plus. Some of the outside chairs were not usable due to wear but even with that, we were able to manage without difficulty. One thing I would mention though is that if you plan to cook meals for a large hungry group, you might consider bringing one of your larger pots (we had to cook 2 lbs of spaghetti in 2 batches). This rental is still worth a 5 star rating.

The Lake is not great; shallow, lots of weeds floating upon the shore, beach at the Lake house is mucky when you go beyond your knees. This was disappointing. The listing needs to be updated to show a summer picture as opposed to a winter picture. The Lake House is wonderful, it is clean and has all the amenities you would ever want. The Property owner is awesome to work with. The geese fence needs to be up 100% of the time to avoid what happened to us: poop all over the lawn and beach. Took 2 people, 2 hours to clean it up.

We were a group of 5 adults and 2 young boys (and a dog), and we all enjoyed it tremendously. The house had plenty of rooms/beds to accommodate us - note that one of the bathrooms is only accessible through a bedroom. Everything was in order when we arrived. The house is a truly water front - easy access to the water for launching water crafts or just go for a dip in the water. We used several kayaks and one paddle boat, even though the steering mechanism was broken, so we used an oar as a workaround. It has a water trampoline, alas it was deflated and unusable. The house has several TVs, which we haven't turned on, as we were outdoors most of the time. We had a minor issue with the septic system, which was resolved a few hours after we reported it. The weather was comfortable, so we haven't used the AC. A good chance that we'll return next year.

Beautiful location, very family friendly

Our group included my husband, myself, our older daughter, her husband and 3 month old baby, our younger daughter, and our two dogs. The house is in a gorgeous location right on the lake, with its own small beach, which was perfect for our plans for a quiet relaxing week. We were also very excited to have use of the kayaks - the lake is ideal for that! It seems like the house has undergone some renovations and maybe got stalled in the process. The living room, dining room, and some of the kitchen seem to have been updated, and the bedrooms were okay, but there wasn't anywhere to put clothes - no dressers or shelves, only a closet bar with a few hangers. We had trouble with the septic system after a couple days, but the owner was quick to respond and sent a repairman first thing the following morning, so we only had to live without toilets for one night, thank goodness. The house did have many extras for the baby and for the dogs, which was greatly appreciated.

Nice potential

We booked this stay for our mom and dad’s mothers/ Father’s Day gift. The idea was to spend the weekend together as a family with the kids and the dogs to use the beach, swim, canoe, etc. I had reached out to the owner through vrbo and personal email asking questions about check out time and never received a response. When we got there the place looked nice but the back yard had such long grass that we had to weed wack. The deck was covered in dirt and looked like it hadn’t been visited in a while. The canoe that they advertised had no seats and couldn’t be used. After swimming in the water for the first night and next morning we became aware that the water was dangerous and had a high level of Cyanobacteria. Thank goodness the kids didn’t get sick after being exposed for an extended amount of time. House has potential but the yard should be cleaned before people come.

Not prepared for our stay

As our vacation approached I tried many times to contact our contact person listed the letter we received with our check in info. I started on My 31st with an email followed by text messages then by phone, all with no luck. My many calls to Evolve and VRBO were ignored, with many promises to get back to me still with no luck! We checked in on June 18th and found the outside unkept, the decks and beach were not ready for use, there was 2 small bags of frozen ice cubes in the freezer but no ice maker or ice cube trays to make more… we are on a beach vacation and can’t even put ice in our drinks! We cooked a steak dinner to celebrate our 1st night but there were only 3 dinner plates (This house slept 14!) and only 2 steak knifes, which we had to share!!!!! We paid $8300 to stay here and it was supposed to have a fully equipped kitchen, which was not true! There was no laundry detergent left in the jug provided, no, extra trash bags which we were told to use, the shower handle kept falling off (it was very heavy and could have hurt someone) the hand soap dispenser in the main bathroom seemed to have been watered down that among other small things just weren’t right for the price we paid ! The worst thing of all though was when I finally got a text message from our contact persons husband, I returned his text with a phone call in which he told me that his wife had died 2 weeks before (how could I complain about his home now)…. I was treated very unfairly and I can’t get any compensation from either Evolve or VRBO since neither one will return a call with the answers I am looking for!!! I feel bad for the next renters !!!

A wonderful vacation!

We had an amazing stay here! The property is on the lake, gorgeous, very fitting for a large group of varying ages - we were celebrating my dad's 70th birthday, and had 2 families with young kids, 2 babies and adults The place is very well equipped, with games, the lake has canoes, a slide, a floating trampoline dock - really everything a kid could want :) The kitchen is very well equipped, great grill, wonderful gazebo to sit and eat watching the lake, a fire pit, breathtaking sunsets - a dream. We had an amazing time and can't wait to return! There were very clear instructions in a folder, and when I couldn't find a light switch I was given help. Thank you so much for a lovely and relaxing stay, it was perfect!

Great pet friendly location

Had a great week at lake. The lake is great for kayaking and paddle boarding. Yard is perfect great for games and dogs. Lots of space inside and outside Would highly recommend

Fun trip with friends

Myself and friends stayed here for 5 days. What an amazing house! It had everything you would want for a trip to a lake. Everything was also fully stoked and made it very easy for our group. 10/10 trip, I would absolutely go back here!
