”The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. ”I showed up with my son afrter 10 hrs of driving and the middle eastern man at the front desk put us in a room that had bugs and dirt all over the sheets. There were holes in the walls also. When I told him about it he did put us in a cleaner room. The pool is empty as well. The property also double charged for the room and now trying to charge me a 3rd time. Very shady place and I don’t ever say this but I’d never stay here again”

”I would never recommend or stay here. Expedia should not have them listed. If zero stars was an option, that is what this place should have. The room smelled of cigarettes when I requested a non-smoking room. The blankets and towels were stained and with cigarette burn holes. The AC knob was broken so we couldn’t control the temperature in the room. The glass window was cracked and taped instead of fixed. The sink in the bathroom had old water b/c it wouldn’t drain even before we first arrived....

”Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. But when we got to the new room is was a smoking room and we reserved a nonsmoking, not good when you have breathing difficulties. At this point it was midnight and...

”Another lovely experience on our girls weekend to Tennessee. Friendly staff, helpful and fixed any issues we had ie) asked for clean linens after day 1 and didn’t get them but they quickly corrected the issue and delivered items to the room. Lovely breakfast options including gluten free items upon request!”
