    Saatavana ympäri vuoden, tule rentoutumaan viikonloppu on tämä 4 makuuhuoneen, 2 tarina mökki, joka on alle 150 metrin päässä suurin hiekkaranta Manitoulin Island, Providence Bay. Tämä on täysin kalustettu - nukkuu jopa 10.

    Vapaa tilaa huoneeseen, kun paketit - vierailustasi sisältyy myös syöttötuoli, turvaistuin, kaksinkertainen lastenrattaat suurilla pyörillä rannalle, joka kiinnittyy myös polkupyörään, aurinkokäyttöön, Graco kannettava pelikynä, hiekkalaukut ja Little Tikes -autoja rannalle, Little Tikesin koripalloverkko pihalle sekä runsaasti sisätiloja ja lautapelejä lapsille.

    Meidän mökki sijaitsee kauniissa Providence Bay, Ontario on Manitoulin Island. Manitoulin-saari on maailman suurin makean veden saari, jolla on runsas alkuperäiskansojen historia vuodelta 10 000 eaa. Providence Bay on ihastuttava kyläyhteisö, joka sijaitsee Huron-järven rannalla saaren etelärannalla Georgianlahdella. Se on helposti saatavilla Sudbury (alle 2 tunnin päässä) tai Chi-Cheemaun lautta Etelä Bay Mouth ja lauttaterminaali on vain 25 minuutin päässä.)

    Providence Bay on tunnettu saaren parhaasta hiekkarannasta, jossa on laaja kävelykatu ja lasten leikkipaikka. (puhumattakaan hyttysten ja mustien lentojen tervetulleeksi puuttumisesta)

     Providence Bay on ainutlaatuinen useimmille Northern Ontario -alueille, koska lähes kaikki mustat kärpäset ja melkein hyttyset ovat lähes koko vuoden. Vuosittain Providence Bay Fair elokuussa houkuttelee tuhansia kävijöitä alueelle. Parata käärmeet kaupungin läpi kaupungin keräävien väkijoukon iloksi. Messu järjestetään kunkin vuoden elokuun kolmantena viikonloppuna. Providence Bay tarjoaa myös upean hiihto- ja moottorikelkkailun talvella.

    Toinen plus: se on vain 25 minuutin päässä lautasta South Baymouthissa.

Midweek getaway

Great location, close to the beach, excellent boardwalk. Would loe to go back again for a longer stay.

Very old cabin so wonky floors and steep stairs but very charming. Highly functional kitchen with everything you could possibly need including spices. Just be aware that the washing machine in the downstairs bathroom is off limits. Bring your own Keurig coffee pods as there are none supplied but a full-on Keurig is there. If you want bedding and towels it's extra but not that much $ and then you have to make your own beds. Very close to a nice beach for walking. When you get the confirmation email there is a lot of information to Wade through. Eventually you'll get an email with the key code as well as texts. At the end of it all they request you remove all the bedding and any towels go into the tub in the down stairs bathroom. Checkout is a little early at 10 but we requested a later checkout and were granted it.

A terrific week

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at this cottage. Dean was an excellent host and provided us with a ton of relevant and useful sight-seeing information/links before our stay. Communication was great. The cottage was clean, clean, clean upon arrival, and is a super fun layout - two staircases to the 2nd floor (!) and the kitchen is well-appointed. Fans in every room were deeply appreciated. The front porch swing was lovely for watching the world go by and napping! The location is sooooo deliciously quiet. An initial concern that the cottage faced onto the road was put to rest immediately - cars were few and far between and the surrounding pines gave it the feel of a wilderness cottage! The Providence Bay location is perfect for setting out on sight-seeing adventures to all parts of the island. The silent nights and morning birdsong were highlights. A great spot.

Fantastic For Work

Traveled to the island to do some filming with our environmental agency and used this location as our working hub. Fantastic layout, great communication with the owners. Highly recommend.

Providence Bay cottage

What a wonderful place to stay and relax! This cottage had everything we could possibly need, from a well stocked kitchen, toys for kids, comfortable bedrooms and it’s ideal location for accessing the beach! Our favourite place to hang out was the swing on the front porch and then having campfires in the backyard! This was the best place to stay for our first visit to Manatoulin Island!

Always very clean and central to everything on Manitoulin, we have been coming back for 7 years and counting, perfect place for our family.

Cozy and quaint cabin in the woods

This was a great place to stay! Dean was a great host who answered all my questions and was quick to get back to me. The place itself is very cozy and clean and the view of the water and the sunset is amazing. Would highly recommend this place and I will for sure be back in the summer.

Great place to stay in Providence Bay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was clean, well kept, and outfitted with everything we needed. There was plenty of room for our two families to meet and interact. We enjoyed walks on the boardwalk along the beach which was only a few steps from the cottage. The view of the river running into Providence Bay and the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore were refreshing. The owners were generous toward us and responded very quickly to all of our inquiries. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone with or without children looking for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful cabin, beautiful location, Dean is more than willing to accomodate your needs, the wife and myself have stayed there twice now and will stay there again in the future we highly recommend staying there ...THANKS DEAN...

House was great; wish we could have stayed longer. Couldn’t use firewood or bikes due to cold.

The house is great and we really enjoyed our brief stay. Detailed directions and instructions were very helpful. Unfortunately the weather was a bit colder than expected so we weren’t able to thoroughly take advantage of all the options available to us, but the house and amenities are great and I would recommend it to others traveling the Manitoulin Island area.

Beautiful cottage

Our stay was amazing. Had all the luxuries of home. A beautiful place to visit. Owners of cottage are very helpful and respond quickly to any questions you may have from start to finish. We will definitely book again if we ever plan another trip to Manitoulin Island. Thank you so much Dean and Robin.

Space!

Great space, roomy, wonderful kitchen and BBQ and equally spacious dining and living rooms. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a larger family or a group of friends.

Very clean and spacious, a perfect getaway and right next to the beach!

Home away from home with lots of room and well setup for families. Only about 20 minutes from the South Bay ferry and close to salmon and other fishing. Main beach and playground are just steps away. Highly recommended if you're going to Manitoulin.

Cozy and beautiful cottage, expect additional amounts to pay

Very cozy and beautiful cottage not far from Lake Huron Beach. You have a great view of the lake from the cottage as you can sit in the backyard, watch the lake while you are having a campfire. In the price of the cottage is not included: towels, linen for the beds, Wifi, firewood for the campfire, bikes or canoes. You can rent those for an additional fee. The cottage has a washer and dryer, but you are requested, not to use them due to water and electricity consumption. The price-performance ratio is not as good as expected as there are additional amounts to pay if you get there by plane.

Great Family Friendly Home

We were 3 families with children ranging from ages 3 to 7 and stayed in this house for 4 nights. Very family friendly, with many toys and plenty of room for he kids to play inside and outside. Very centrally located, only a 2 minute walk from the beach. Very clean and cozy.

Thanksgiving with family on Manitoulin Island

Our family arrived in Providence Bay to find the cottage within easy walking distance of the boardwalk through the dunes. We were amazed at how complete the accommodations were - from toys for babies to adults, outdoor and indoor games, dry firewood (extra cost), large master bedroom and fast Wi-Fi ( extra cost). Well equipped kitchen and two complete bathrooms. with toiletry supplies. We used this cottage as a base to explore Central Manitoulin where the sights to see were within an easy hour's drive. Tourist information was available too. The owners were very easy to work with and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including a roasting pan to fit our turkey. Very clean as well! A great time with family!

Great Place !!

We really enjoyed our visit. Great area. Great cottage, as described, very clean, no dirt, no bugs, one very timid mouse. Lots of nice details, well-stocked kitchen equipment, good BBQ, board games, even a chocolate bar dispensing machine!!. There is no cell phone service but we were able to get incoming calls on the house phone and we hooked into the internet service for outgoing calls. The air conditioning may not be hooked up but we didn't need it, we needed a bit of heat for the last couple of days and the furnace worked fine. The firewood option was a waste of money, the firepit produces nothing but smoke, probably because of poor ventilation, but we didn't really want to use it anyhow. Hey!! - this area has almost no mosquitoes!! The only thing that we would have liked was the laundry appliances, the nearest laundry place was 20 minutes away in Mindemoya. There is a well-stocked convenience store within a 5 minute walk. All in all, this place is great.
