”Hotel is crying for renovation, far from luxury. I had prepaid my room and took a deposit of 600$ over a 4 night stay, tried to charge me for two extra nights (we switched rooms after 2 nights cause the room smelled like mold). Second room was better. ”

”Great location, friendly and helpful staff, and decked out to the nines for the holidays! Would have loved a bar fridge we could actually use for our 8 day stay (it’s limited to the expensive mini bar items and you can’t remove to put your own food/drinks in) and mugs that actually fit the full cup of Nespresso coffee from the maker (made a mess overflowing every brew), but overall a great stay in a comfortable and spacious room. Thanks again, Fairmont!”

”Hotel was super clean, beds were cozy, and service was impeccable. Check in and check out were effortless. Pool was fun and not crowded. My only gripe is the high cost for parking ($68/night valet or $55/night self park), which, unfortunately, seems to be a typical issue for downtown Austin. Nearby construction was not an issue from our 22nd floor. I did not find value in the urban experience fee ($35/night), which is way the hotel industry is using resort fees to juice up costs while losing...
