”No wi-fi and no tv were two of the main perks. The dark skies and end of the road location were the main attraction. The nearby hiking trails and endless beauty were the surprise. The desert had just had rain so it was blooming everywhere (luck, not good timing) which added to the awe. The room was dated but clean and neat. ”The property seemed a little sketchy driving upto it- 4wheel drive/SUV DEFINITELY recommended! After arriving to check in, Daniel (?) greeted us, checked us in and informed us of all we needed to know for our stay. He personally guided us to our unit, which was a nice touch. The unit was clean, private and super cute! My only SUPER complaint was the "Star Gazing" tent we booked ( 400+ per night) to gaze the stars from a 'pillow talk' view. ”This room was so cozy and great! We were lucky to get it from a cancellation and had a great stay. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable about the area and the room was clean and well stocked. We liked being in the woods and it was a quiet area”

”The location is isolated but is a very relaxing place to release tension. The sunsets are beautiful to watch. The only problem is the 17 miles from the camp to the main road, 3 of which are a dirt road. The restaurant on site is very good and the pool is very nice. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants a quiet getaway.”

”The room was clean and comfortable for our stay. The bed was comfy, but not the pillows. I will bring my own pillows next time. The hotel was a good proximity to where we wanted to visit, which was "The House on the Rock" and "Cave of the mounds". It's also across from a nice supper club "Arthur's" . I recommend for a nice little weekend getaway.”
