”Great service. Location was wonderful. No heater in the room but had good down blankets on the beds. Older rooms but clean.
There are common areas to hang out in with others but a 10p noise rule.
Allowed us to fill up water bottles with filtered water.
The only con I have would be that the reception person told us that they could not use American credit cards and we had to pay in cash. No problem but would have liked to know in advance to ensure we had enough cash.
Would stay again.”
”If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Ollantaytambo, Lizzy Wasi in Urubamba is the absolute perfect place to stay. I stayed here for 4 nights with our family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish.
The property itself is gorgeous and cozy, featuring a beautiful, serene garden. At night, away from the city lights, the stargazing is incredible!
A special mention goes to the food: the breakfast was fantastic every morning, and the onsite restaurant was...
”A fantastic oasis in the sacred valley. Beautifully designed and comfortable rooms, great location and excellent service. Dinner and breakfast were just perfect. Thank you Tony!”
”As a local, he shared wonderful recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
When my friend and I experienced altitude sickness, Darghen arranged a private taxi tour for us so we could explore at our own pace and return to the hostel whenever we needed. This was far more comfortable than joining a standard group tour, and we were very grateful for his help.
The breakfast was one of the freshest we have ever had. Much of the produce is harvested directly...
”The place was good and relaxing but it is away from town. No activities in hotel. Good if you want to relax before or after machu pichu. Room is clean and has good views. Breakfast was nice”
”This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The grounds were beautiful, and the accommodation was superb. A hiking trail was adjacent to the property which provided a panorama vista of the Sacred Valley. I will definitely say here again when I visit the Sacred Valley.”
”Good location clean. Unfortunately even the slightest street noise is audible in the room. Same for light and noise from the hallway. Very friendly staff.”
”Beautiful , magical town! The hotel is a short walking distance from city center. Has a gorgeous roof top area to star gaze and relax. A lovely complimentary breakfast was served every morning. Would definitely stay there again! Showers were nice and hot, beds firm, room temperature fine.”
”If you are travelling to Ollantaytambo, you have to stay at The Quechua Lodge. The property is so pretty, the location is wonderful, and it is incredibly relaxing and Zen. It has a cozy, small community feel where you immediately feel at home.
Edith and her husband Stijn were absolutely amazing. What really set them apart was how they cared for me when I got sick during my stay. They actually went to the pharmacy themselves to get me medicine and made sure I was looked after until I recovered....
”A decent, but not luxurious hotel. Well situated, and free continental breakfast was included. Somewhat noisy in the early evening due to proximity of the main square but quieted down at night.”
