”Misia was a wonderful experience. It was one the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy and I have visited this beautiful country almost ten times. Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. The owners were most friendly, told tips where to eat, shop, and suggested a lovely visit to the nearby hilltop town of Civita di Bagnoreggio, which could be reached by bus. Thank you very much your warm hospitality! Italian style breakfast was a nice bonus. Our apartment had very good air-conditioning, was spacious and stylish with cooking-facilities. Orvieto itself was just beautiful and cosy historic city, especially wonderful was the cathedral of Orvieto.”

The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... The place itself is really beautiful, high quality and everything works perfectly - and it still has an old personal/rustic countryside feeling. Called Expedia for a refund, since this is a double charge, with case # 179185339, they askes dor the evidence od double payment, everything sent properly on time. ”We booked for our elopement ceremony. 6 of us, for 4 nights. It’s a beautiful property & overall had a pleasant stay. Some things I wish were communicated in advance. We spoke to the host before booking, ensuring we could have our 6person ceremony, photogs, & use a private chef. The chef he recommended cost more than we were originally told. But he was incredible. I also asked the host about recs for where to get things in town & he just said everything is in town which wasn’t super helpful....

Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen für alle die, die etwas abenteuerliche Zufahrt und so einige Krabbel und Schwirr- Tiere im Haus und natürlich auch draußen sind, nicht scheuen. Die Alleinlage und die absolut Ruhe sind ein Genuss , zum Einkaufen muss man halt ein bisschen fahren. Wir waren fast jeden Tag mit dem Mountainbike unterwegs die Umgebung...
