”The house is as described, and Lisa and Andy were very helpful hosts. We particularly liked how well-equipped the kitchen was, the quietness of the house, and birdwatching at the lake. The lake is quite large, and we had it to ourselves. It is about 20 m from the front door of the house, reached via the car parking space. ”

”Ich habe in Frankreich schon viele Gîtes kennengelernt, dieses jedoch hat mich sehr positiv überrascht. Die alte Bausubstanz ist sehr schön erhalten und mit modernem Komfort ergänzt. Ein riesiges Wohnzimmer, ein gut funktionierender Kamin, bequeme Betten, viel Platz, ein Swimmingpool und das schöne Schloss, ein gutes Restaurant und eine gemütliche Kneipe. Der Schlossherr spricht fließend Englisch und ist bei allen Fragen behilflich. Was mich dazu bewogen hat, trotz meiner wirklich großen...

”We hadden een supergoed verblijf in Sarlande.De ontvangst was heel hartelijk door Nadine en Jean-Pierre.Goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning (zwembad , jacuzzi en sauna). Rustige ligging. De woning blijft ook mooi koel bij warme temperaturen.Zwembad is overdekt, wat ook handig is voor de kinderen bij warme temperaturen.”

”Maison au calme, sur terrain arboré. Suffisamment spacieux pour notre groupe de 9 personnes. Piscine sécurisée pour les plus jeunes. Activités à proximité. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. ”

”We had a fantastic relaxing stay during August. The gite is beautiful and very well equipped, even fans available for those hot nights. Hosts were very friendly and attentive to our requirements if asked. Overall i would highly recommend this gite.”

”Communication difficile avec les propriétaires (même en Anglais) literie très confortable, chauffage un peu limite vu la taille des pièces, pas de baby foot, très beau parc, accès restaurant limité à 2 soirs par semaine, non précisé sur offre, fuite sur la machine à laver, pas d'aspirateur, il a fallu demander un balai. Location convenable sûrement encore plus agréable en été. Très bien pour l'espace pour les enfants.”

I would like to thank both Mario and Ilse for being wonderful hosts, we received such a warm welcome and were afforded absolute privacy throughout our stay even though they were always on hand if anything was needed.The cottage is beautiful and so well equipped its a real home from home, with a full size larder fridge and an under the counter freezer there is plenty of room for you to stock up on groceries and forget that the world outside...

”Really lovely gite, lots of space inside and out. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Ruth & Adrian were great hosts, there if needed but never intrusive. Bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival was much appreciated too. Lots to do in the local area. We had a fabulous two week stay. Beautiful hand made baskets to purchase as a souvenir too. ”

”Second time staying at Nadia's property. It's a lovely old property that stays comfortable and cool in the hot summer months. Plenty of space for a large family to stay. Both times we have stayed the house has been very clean and the beds already made.10 minutes to the lake for a swim or a walk and a great night market on Monday nights during the summer.Disappointed to see the local bar has closed but it's up for sale so hopefully someone will bring it back to life!This is one of our favourite...

”The gite was lovely and well equipped. Beautiful, extremely peaceful situation. The private swimming pool is a real bonus! It’s a great place to chill in the sun and equally great for touring around. Stuart is a great host.”
