The room we were assigned was not accessible as the lock on the door would not give us access even after maintenance staff attempted it with the master key. The staff immediately remedied the situation. We were upgraded at no charge to a suite and taken care of. ”

”It was tough to find a good hotel up here on our road trip, but Bodega Bay Lodge ended up being such a wonderful surprise. The view from the property is absolutely amazing — you can just sit and watch the bay for hours. The pool and hot tub overlooking the water were the perfect way to relax after driving, and the fire pits at night made it feel so cozy. The restaurant on site was excellent, with fresh seafood and a great wine list, so we didn’t even feel the need to go anywhere else for dinner....

”It’s a fun hotel to stay at because it’s so old. The rooms were decent. I felt they were a little bit rundown. Staff was very friendly. I like the location of railroad Square, but parking felt very unsafe. You have to park a little bit down from the hotel. There’s a lot of homeless people in that area so was definitely nervous when I had to drive back at night and walk from the parking lot to the hotel as a single. ”
