It is not the Ritz in Paris, but it is a gem in the countryside. From here you can drive easily to the amazing castles along the Loire. We will be back! ”

”Appartamenti piccoli ma puliti e soprattutto in posizione molto comoda per visitare i castelli della Loira: a noi interessavano Chambord e Chenonceau e la struttura era quasi esattamente a metà strada, quindi non potevamo chiedere di meglio. ”Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”

”What an incredible coincidence! We stayed at this same hotel in the same room 8 years ago! Last time, the little bed in the corner wasn’t necessary for a couple, but this time we came with our 2 year old son who loved sleeping in his first real bed! The new indoor pool is a luxurious addition since our 2016 stay and this time we splurged for the in-room breakfast, which was so copious and delicious that we haven’t been hungry for the rest of the day! More than worth the additional charge! ”

”Onze kamer was erg ruim. Wat vooral opviel was het linnen dekbed, het bed lag prima. Een absoluut hoogtepunt was het zwembad. Perfect onderhouden, met ligstoelen eromheen, ideaal om even af te koelen of te ontspannen na een dagje uit. We hebben hier echt van genoten, zeker op de warme dagen. Er is ook een mooie tuin. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend vers en uitgebreid, met lokale producten en zelfgemaakte lekkernijen. Kortom, deze chambre d’hôtes is een echte aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar...
