”Would love to come back and hate that we only got to stay one night. Super clean and comfortable run and house. So nice to be able to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the morning and choose between incredible breakfast options.”

”I never leave negative reviews and overall we loved the hotel. Beware, however, the hotel charged me a balance remaining between them and Expedia stating I needed to seek a refund from Expedia for them underpaying my stay. I paid the same price on Expedia as the advertised hotel rate. I was also charged for parking on property and did not. I’ve left messages since my stay for the GM and have not heard back him.”

”Was disappointed when we found a roach in the pool area shortly after arrival. Thankfully it was dead but definitely made me feel uneasy about the rest of our stay. However, the staff was kind and location was ideal plenty of food and gas near by.”

”The property is undergoing significant renovations. They do not disclose this until you get there. This should be disclosed before the guests arrive. Things are kind of a mess. And the whole place smells like a construction zone. Normally, has been a nice place when they have their stuff together. Personally, I believe the place should be closed until the renovations are complete. But if not, let guests know what is going on in advance.”

”This hotel was a very nice surprise, excellent quality for the price! Everything was new and absolutely spotless. The hotel had everything we needed, the room was huge and the bed very comfortable. It's refreshing to see hotels that are maintained this well. Extra points for having oat milk for coffee!”

”The property is excellent; the facilities are excellent BUT some of the staff need training in hospitality especially for an exceptional property in a historic area. I have been twice in the last 3 weeks due to work, and it was the same both times. Both times, I had multiple experiences at the front desk where staff didn't even look up from what they were doing and said, "Can I help you?" with exasperated facial expressions that appeared as if I was an annoyance or chore.
