Independent – Chantillyn metsä, Hauts-de-France

”Erikoinen varaus - täällä piti olla kylpylä, mutta vasta varauksen jälkeen kerrottiin, että se on koko loppuvuoden pois käytöstä. Tilalle sai aika koomiset kaksi suolaista minipalaa ja juoman (omalla kohdallani 5 euron mineraalivesilasillinen). Aamiainen pieni, mutta suht ok, huone ihan ok. Ehkä ei ihan vastinetta rahalle, mutta nukuimme hyvin ja hiljainen paikka. Nehän tärkeimmät.”

”Amazing, hip hotel in a cool area, surrounded by vintage shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Our room was the suite (rm 600): huge balcony, great views. Highly recommended. ”

”The hotel was very clean, and we had a wonderful view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. Having breakfast in the sunshine with these stunning views was also a lovely way to start the day. There were a lot of construction sites in the area around the hotel. The train station was within walking distance and made it easy to get around. There was a shop next to the hotel where we could buy water and other essentials. Fortunately, the rooms had air conditioning, as we were in Paris during a heatwave.”

”Well it is what you get for the price. Like a cheap old cruise ships. Smelled pretty bad and definitely outdated. But room was as clean as it can be for all the wear and tear. I got ok sleep and it was convenient for the airport and exhibition. But I have to say I have been at cheaper hostels that were nicer. ”

”2 night trip where hotel wasn't the main reason for travelling. Served it's job as a bed for a decent price in that overvalued and overrated city. Bed was nice, everything else wasn't. If you are going to Paris, my advice is just don't go to the city at all, save your money and go somewhere else and get a real nice hotel for the same price”
