”Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house.”

”We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

”Very tasteful selections for breakfast with an elegant presentation— history abounds in this small inn- lovely!🇨🇦”

”Great location for the celebration we were attending. Lovely host really friendly. A fab stay”

”The pub is set in a beautiful village and is old and quaint. It has s very close to Ham Hill Country park. It has a large bar area with lots of unique table spots to relax in. There is also a garden which I didn't use but looked nice from the window in my room. There is a campsite which is well appointed and great for a campervan stopover which is what I originally planned to do. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The menu and specials offered a wide range of food and all of our party...

”We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. Thank you ”

”It’s is a lovely place to stay and the price and quality of the food is amazing.”
