”This is the second time we stopped at this hotel on our way back north from Florida. While it is not a 5 star hotel I have it 5 stars because of what it offers for the price as a stop over. First the rooms are very comfortable, clean and newly refurbished. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The lobby is clean with lots of seating. ”Our room was spotless but the tub looked very dirty on the bottom that looked like an unremovable film. The place was not full which made breakfast quiet and comfortable and I think the breakfast was better than other ones we have eaten at hotels like this. Coffee was delicious, each cup fresh made. Choices were the usual except for a very nice cheese omelet and crispy bacon that were a surprise. The staff was very good and there was a circulating person at breakfast that kept everything...

”Our room was clean. However, the hotel seemed a bit rundown. We also had to wait about 10 minutes to check in because there was nobody at the front desk. I was starting to get worried but finally someone came. I think he was the only one currently working. Also, most of the exterior doors, even though they had scanners for your key card, did not work and were propped open or did not close all the way. ”Good price and location but when we were there we had difficulties with property maintenance. The elevator button panel fell off while we were eating breakfast and everyone had to take the stairs. The breakfast room had logistical challenges and was very full. Our room had a broken hair dryer and some da))?mage in the bathroom. Beds were comfy and everything was clean.Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Overall, location was great, rooms were clean,”

”We got a great deal on this property through Expedia and were very happy with the property. It’s feel like historic Williamsburg with great location close to William & Mary and shops/restaurants on Richmond Hwy. The staff was super friendly and while the room was in older side - it was clean and worked fine for our 2 night stay. I was bummed not to use outdoor pool and hot tub (a little chilly - early May stay) but my husband and I enjoyed playing mini golf. I would recommend this hotel/resort!!”

”The property, parking & rooms are beautiful. However…my daughter and I both had the worst sleep of our life here. It was so extremely uncomfortable (bed & pillows) we were up for 2 nights. Also, we got scammed upon checkin. Our reservation was cancelled and we were never called about the card we used on file. The staff member said “oh we cancelled alot of reservations this morning. But don’t worry we’ll just rebook it for you. Someone should’ve called you”. No one called, the price was double...

”If you're just staying a few nights, this place is sufficient for the price. Bed was comfortable. We had a mini fridge and microwave. Bathroom needed some repairs - the ceiling was falling apart and the room could use a good deep clean. The pool wasn't open yet, so we weren't able to use it. Overall, for the price it was okay. If we just need to stay one night, we will probably stay here again. Workers were nice, breakfast had a nice variety (yogurt, waffles, cereal, muffins, toast, juices)....

”stayed 2 days it was clean and staff was very friendly. You don't have to pay for breakfast which is always a plus when traveling with kids. Its close to everything 10 min for busch gardens and right by colonial williamsburg. didn't get to use the pool because its outdoors and wasn't that nice out but i would stay here again.”
