Welcome to Unit #354—your charming and spacious two-bedroom waterfront retreat, perfect for a relaxing getaway in downtown Charlevoix. This unique condo features vaulted ceilings and beautiful wood floors, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The main level includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed, while the enclosed loft offers a king-size bed and its own charming “princess” balcony. With two full bathrooms featuring walk-in showers, there’s plenty of comfort and convenience for your group. The living room also includes a queen-size sleeper sofa to accommodate additional guests.

The open-concept living space includes a well-equipped kitchenette with a drawer-style mini fridge, two-burner stovetop, dishwasher, and microwave—ideal for preparing light meals. The layout is both functional and cozy, perfect for gathering and unwinding.

Enjoy beautiful waterfront views from the balcony or take advantage of the bonus window to watch boats sail in and out of Round Lake—an ideal way to relax and take in the scenery.

Located at the Edgewater Inn on the north shore of Round Lake Harbor and the Pine River Channel, this condo offers prime drawbridge views and a central downtown location. You’ll be just a short walk from Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping, and galleries, making it an excellent choice for a short getaway, extended vacation, or even a wedding celebration.

Each condo at the Edgewater Inn is individually owned and uniquely decorated, offering a distinct experience with every stay. With 60 unique units, a variety of amenities, and a friendly staff, guests can expect a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Additional amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building, a guest laundry facility, and a pool with a year-round indoor section and a seasonal outdoor section (open May through September).

Great trip to Charlevoix

This is a great location in Charlevoix that is close to town and allows for an easy walk to shopping and dining. This unit has the best view of the lake and the bridge. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. There is no oven available which was not a problem for us as we had no plans for cooking on our vacation. There is a stove and microwave for re-heating things if needed. This is truly a great place to stay. We will absolutely choose it again for any future trips to Charlevoix.

Disappointed

The property we reserved and paid for had non-working air conditioning. It was very stuffy. We told the front desk and they gave us the opportunity to move two doors down to a unit with working air conditioning. That was good. However the new unit’s living space was smaller. The dining table was a high one with high chairs. The two bar chairs were high. The sofa and one easy chair sat VERY low. We are seniors with some mobility issues so other than the two rockers on the balcony, there was not a comfortable place to sit. In the second unit the main level bed was full of grit, the bathroom sink did not drain well and the screen door was broken and torn. To the front desk’s credit, they were polite and helpful. The second unit was offered immediately and the screen, drain and sheets corrected quickly the next morning. We were credited a generous, partial refund. We did have a knock on the door from the management the next day wondering why we weee there. They were going to rent out the unit but someone said it wasn’t empty. We explained. The front desk people had not communicated the switch. However we love the facility and will try again next year, just not this unit. We needed to be much younger. 😊 m

Round Lake Condo

Although the condo was clean there were multiple things in need of attention. The air conditioning was not working for the first day and front desk staff were not able to assist. Luckily one of our family members were able to find and check breaker the next day which solved the problem. In an attempt to open windows to ventilate condo the screen door fell off the track again requiring a family member to come over and rehang it. A towel bar in the first floor bathroom kept falling off the wall and several lamps/lampshades came apart every time they were turned on. These issues were stressful for the Bride and her bridesmaid the night prior to the wedding.

Great location to stay

We have stayed at the Edgewater multiple times a year for decades. We love the location. This is one of the nicest rooms there. Very roomy and nicely appointed. We hope to visit it again soon!

Great location, nice balcony!

The furniture was a bit dated and some not in great shape. It was very warm and we could not locate any air conditioning, but there were ceiling fans. I might have missed either the location of air conditioning or missed that there was none in the description. A screen on the balcony door may have helped cool it down, but there wasn’t one. It was a great location and you could walk to everything and watch the boats from the balcony which was a lot of fun.
