The initial check-in was unusual. I waited about ten minutes while the clerk behind the desk and a young lady were figuring out about her checking in. He didn’t smile once and didn’t seem to know what he was doing. When it was my turn, no smile, no welcome, just “next.” Then, I swear, he had his finger up his nose, right there in front of me and other waiting customers. He asks for my ID and credit card and I said, “not after you were picking your nose!” So he stepped into the room adjacent to the front desk and I presumed he washed his hands somehow. Even so, when I got upstairs, I wiped down my credit card, ID and room key cards with Purell hand wipes. That guy behind the desk needs to learn some customer service. He acted like he wished he was anywhere else. He’s in the wrong business.
