Family wedding

This place was very comfortable for 5 couples. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked, they had everything we needed. They only downside was this could have been a little cleaner. There were cobwebs all over the outside windows and the carpets were very dirty.

Unbelievable cancelled while I was sleeping in the house

The property owner did not contact me to cancel my reservation. I arrived at the property approximately 10 PM, the property was open. My self and family entered the property which appeared to be in a welcoming state. There were clean towels, beds were made etc.. we all slept the first night, only to be called in the morning by VRBO . The reservation had been canceled at midnight while we were sleeping. There was electricity, water, heat and air, but the property owner claimed that it was environmentally unsafe. According to the VRBO policy, the property owner has this right. Of note this property had an open house scheduled (as per Zillow)on the day we had reserved the property. Therefore, we were forced to find another lodging. I will never use Vrbo again due to this awful policy and experience!

Excellent for Family Gathering

This home was just fantastic for our family. We stayed Thursday through Saturday night for our daughter's wedding. We used every bed and the futon. The kitchen is well stocked, but you will need to keep up with dishes or use paper products like we did. If you have coffee drinkers, like we do, I'd recommend bringing your own Keurig and coffee. The home has a small coffee maker but it wouldn't have been as easy as having the Keurig. Maybe this is something the home owners could add. Plus, the home owners could add a few more coffee cups and that would help a lot. The refrigerator is large and that's a plus as well. There are only two showers in the home! So be mindful that you will have to share bathroom time will everyone staying in the home and you'll be fine. There are two additional half bathrooms one one the top floor and one on the main level that are helpful as well. The weather was beautiful so we used the front and back porches which were a plus when we had additional guest visit Friday night. My one small complaint is that the homeowners could/need to do some work on the yard and keep up the landscaping. When we arrived to a yard needing maintenance and mowing badly, my initial thought was I hoped the home was in better shape than the yard. Fortunately, you can't judge the home by the yard. I've rented may homes for vacations and I would DEFINITELY recommend this home for a large family gathering. Thank you for sharing your home.

AMAZING!

This house is absolutely amazing! The owners of the home are so incredibly kind! My family and I celebrated our family Christmas here as well as a graduation get together! When we arrived at the home there was the sweetest sign welcoming us, as well as a card AND cupcakes. The house came fully equipt with everything you could possibly need and then some! I have a 3 and a half year old and it was so nice not to pack up half our of house to come stay. Everything we needed for him was there. The house was so clean! All beds incredibly comfortable! Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and all bath toiletries were provided in the home. The property is stunning. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing place for our family to enjoy their time together! We will be back! Thank you so much!

Great house for large groups!

Our family of 12 had a birthday celebration here last weekend. The house is large and spread out and everyone had a place to be. There were lots of extra linens and towels, which is sometimes an issue, and it was well stocked overall. The back deck and the Man Cave were perfect for relaxing and for loud sports fans when the kids were napping! The owners were quick to respond when we called about an issue when we arrived. Great stay!

Great Home

Lennox and Lauren were incredible hosts. We were welcomed with fresh cookies and they even emailed me once during our trip just to make sure everything was perfect. The house is very clean and looks just like the pictures. We were very impressed with their decorating skills! You do have to take your shoes off in the house. We aren’t use to doing that but it was no problem. We also couldn’t get the dishwasher to work which was disappointing but hopefully it will be fixed for the next guest. I would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely Amazing....

Great house, tastefully decorated, beds so comfortable they cradle you, with lots and lots of pillows... So much room, attention to detail and you couldn't ask for a better house to make you feel right at home. The yard was amazing and enjoyable. with an amazing game room with a great popcorn maker just like the movies.... Everything was perfect, from the time we entered with our favorite wine waiting for us, to the delicious cookies that would have made Santa Claus envious... So yes we had an excellent stay and will be back again when we are going to Charlotte. Thank you for being such excellent host and making our stay exceptional.

Peaceful and playful home was perfect for our PGA stay.

Southern hospitality was extended to us from our first conversation with the owners to our homemade cookies upon our arrival and their kindly gestures and prompt return of our deposit upon departure. The home is spacious with plenty of charming areas to gather inside and outside. The property is clean and tidy and offers all of the amenities you would need. We didn't notice a cool little party room "MAN CAVE" off the side of the garage until midway through our trip and I'm sure some guests would really enjoy that space! That goes for the loft play area upstairs too. We did not need the space, but I imagine families traveling with small children would appreciate the separate areas to play and stay. All in all it was great value for the size of the place and the location was close enough to downtown Charlotte but far away enough to feel like a true get-away. Lennox and Lauren are fabulous hosts and were attentive to all of our inquiries before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this home for friends and families gathering for college events or just exploring all that Charlotte and the surrounding areas have to offer.

Great house for a group

We had nine folks stay comfortably. The kitchen was great for cooking for the group, with a layout that made it easy for us all to gather round. Fantastic porch with rockers, and we did a poker tournament in the man cave. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
