This hotel looked NOTHING like the pictures online. It was old and outdated. Upon entering the hotel, it felt dirty and had an old, musty smell to it. The room, itself, was in need of some desperate updating as well as the appliances. And although I was only there for one night, I honestly can't see how anyone could stay there for any extended period of time. The bathroom felt dirty as the sink, toilet and tub all needed to be replaced. Also, I did see a roach crawling on the wall, the very next morning I was packing to leave. The TV had a weird film on it, which made watching anything on it difficult, because it had a strange glare to it. The bed itself was ok, but honestly, I slept on top of the sheets with just a blanket because the whole room just felt so unclean, and I did not feel comfortable getting under the sheets. The walls are paper thin and I heard everything my neighbors were saying and doing.
Overall, I would rate this hotel a 1 out of 10, with the 1 rating only because the young lady at the front desk was very sweet and kind. She actually was the only one there and had to check in people, and also clean rooms. I will not be staying in this hotel anymore and considering all the other hotel options in the area, I truly hope the owners make the right choice to update this hotel and not continue to think that having your guests, whether they be long term or short-term stays, endure a dirty, outdated and depressing hotel is acceptable.
