”I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. ”Some trouble getting in but could have been some user error. The lock is a little different and it spins so can be confusing. The owners checked in quite a bit until they could get in. The only other trouble was the second shower had no hot water. Had to use 1 shower for everyone. Only there for a long weekend so unable to be fixed that quick, understandable. Owner was very respectful and responsive. The home was very clean and tidy. Seems like everyone was comfortable in the beds as well....

”The en suite room was just as described and met our needs perfectly. The location was within walking distance of Church Street and surrounding shops/restaurants. The hosts were very pleasant and the on-site parking was very convenient. A very enjoyable stay!”

”We have rented this cottage in September 2023 to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with friends. The Owner was very accessible, answered all my questions very fast before and while we were there. The place is beautiful, everything you need to cook is there, and the view from the kitchen and living room is amazing! The master bedroom is beautiful, private and has many windows so you can see the lake when you wake up in the morning. I will definitely go back!”

”Great spot feels like staying at grandmas house. Rather than a character-less corporate run stay, this actually feels like staying in someone’s house. Very cozy, and we even saw a bear in the yard! ”Checking in and out was super easy. Cottage was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Loved sitting next to, and in, the peaceful, babbling river. ”The property was excellent, of course...on the water, facing west, very quiet, immaculate neighborhood. Bit of an old, musty smell - like an old camp. Did not bother us but it was there. Very easy directions and instructions for use of the property. Uber was easy picking up and dropping off. Towels and linens were very clean. Thank you for a great stay.”

Great recommendations from the hosts for restaurants and hiking in the area. We loved the move theater - and had a great night going to the drive-in movies a few miles down the road! ”Really nice space at an affordable price. Kitchen and game room were awesome, check-in/out super easy. Longer drive to Stowe than we thought because Smuggler's Notch was closed. Master bedroom shower faucet was out but hopefully that's been fixed.”

”House advertised with air conditioning, the only air conditioning is in the living room and kitchen area. We stayed at the house on a warm May weekend and the upstairs bedrooms (5) were very uncomfortable, thermostats for the heat were reading 80+ degrees, each room had at least one window that was broken and not able to be opened. We alerted the property manager as soon as we arrived and nothing was done for 2.5 days, when someone did come out they confirmed it was hot but nothing could be...

”Comfortable, climate control worked well. Bathroom was clean. Floor was cold, but that doesn't bother me. Within walking distance of some good eats. not recommended if you're sensitive to loud sounds as its close to the airport and lots of vehicle traffic might keep someone up all night but I'm deaf in one ear so no worries for me.”
