”We loved our stay at the Geneseo Inn. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is so welcoming and the room was wonderful. The restaurant on site is within walking distance and has delicious wine and food. The chef prepared breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back to stay in the future.”

”Upon check-in, there were problems with the front desk. The usual desk clerk was not available, so another family member stepped in to assist (we were told). He was not familiar with the computer system, so that took long. Though I got into the lobby first, he helped another lady who came in afterwards (and I found out later that she was there a half hour earlier and the man was not able to assist her yet). The check-in process took a half hour. The desk clerk kept answering phone calls, which...

”The woman who checked us in was very nice. It’s went quite smoothly/efficiently. Parking was plentiful. The pool was not so clean — rather unappealing. My room was very clean, recently remodeled. It’s a simple, basic room for a great price. I would recommend. Two minor inconveniences … There is no electric plug near the sink to use with my hair dryer & curling iron. Also, there is no soap dish or shelf in the shower to put shampoo, razor.”

”Beautiful historic hotel with lots of personality. Nice size bathroom and generous size room with a bathtub. Minor complaint is the pillows need to be refreshed. Front desk staff are friendly and efficient. They have some gift items and tasty chocolate bars for sale. Easy to park right around the hotel.”

My husband and I both have physical disabilities, so getting to the third floor for breakfast was a real problem. I wish I would have checked or have been notified before our stay that the elevator was not working. In addition the ice machine was also out of order.☹️”
