”Breakfasts room was so small. Hardly any place to sit”

”Nice place to stay. Convenient to hiking. Biking and tours. Breakfast was okay. Staff friendly. Parking great. Parked right outside our room.”

”The room is clean, and good sized. We got a suite. There was a tall table with barstool size chairs. We thought it would be perfect for playing cards, but the chairs were too high for the table. I am average size and sitting on the chair couldn’t fit my legs under the table. It was weird. The beds were extremely firm. My husband said they were terrible, and he didn’t sleep much. If they did a few upgrades, it would be great.”

”Great location and view. I’m a light sleeper so I did struggle because you hear every little thing in this hotel. Breakfast was not the best but it’s the U.P., so it actually exceeded expectations.”

”Technically a few miles outside Munising but still convenient to everything. The hotel is well maintained and clean with nicely appointed rooms with plenty of space. There is no elevator for the second floor rooms so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground floor room ahead of time. Morning breakfast area is very nice and you won’t go hungry! Staff is pleasant and very accommodating! Our go-to stay when visiting the part of the Michigan U.P.!”

”We stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites Munising-Lakefront and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was clean, well maintained, and offered a great value for the price. Our room was comfortable and inviting, and the lakefront location made the stay even more enjoyable. Waking up to beautiful views of Lake Superior was definitely a highlight of our trip. ”Clean room, modern vibe, digital access, near shops and attractions. Perfect little spot to be cozy enough for sleep/recharge but not keep you from exploring (in the best ways!). Staff was kind and helpful. Cute fire pit and nice sauna (I didn’t have a chance to use either on this stay, but def a nice touch). Easy checkin/checkout. Great place to stay while in the area.”

”The water in the shower turned cold after about 2 minutes and the tub was very slow to drain! The sink faucet also needed to be worked on! The check in clerk George was very helpful after the clerk who checked us in messed up the reservation!! She never checked my ID and got us confused with someone else! We were charged too much and George was able to credit my account! Location was great!”

”This is a cute place to stay if you’re only planning on being there for a few days, there is not much around the area and it’s more of a small stop you make if you have to rather than a longer stay. It was super clean and at first the staff were great at communicating, later we tried contacting the staff to checkout early or to ask for other amenities and were left for days without a response, so very disappointed with their “24/7 available communication,” because it didn’t seem like they were...

Only down side for us was no breakfast provided.”

”This property does not have someone on site. Not a big deal if everything is working. However the TV in our room was not working (loud buzzing but no other sound) and no one answered the phone number given, nor did they call back. After driving 10 hours, it would have been nice to pop on the TV and relax a little bit before going to sleep. Everything is dated, the bed was squeaky, the pillows felt really old. ”Simple, budget friendly, great location, had most of what I needed, minimum necessities. Didn't have a good place in the room for clothing or to put a suitcase or bag; only 1 hanger, and it was for pants. TV was very small. No ventilation in the bathroom. Next to party house, sounded loud and violent at about 3am.”
