”The room appeared to be clean but had an awful odor, like stinky gym shoes, pool and jacuzzi were not available like the ad showed, that’s why I chose this establishment, very disappointed, food for breakfast was nice, bed was comfortable”

”It’s in perfect location. Quiet setting. All is in walking distance to marina, food market and restaurants. It’s clean with all necessities such as air conditioning, refrigerator etc. there’s even coffee, ice on site and sauna rooms too!”

”It was a good quick stay - nothing fantastic. Breakfast was ok - waffles were good if you could get batter.”

”It was a motel in a pinch. Blinds don’t fit windows so all the light comes in and anyone can watch you sleep or change. Things haven’t been updated in a while. Outlets so loose, any plug falls out. Carpet is stained and pillows had hairs on them. But, it was a bed for a night.”

”Cute motel. Only bummer was we reserved a king room and when we got there all they had were doubles.”

”We were pleasantly surprised on how clean and kept up the lodge was. The Staff was very helpful and attentive. The room was larger than most standard rooms. The shower was hot and hot tub was well maintained. We would stay there again!”

”The hotel is ok. The room we were in felt and smelled moist. The laminate in the bathroom was peeling or missing. The door to the room was separated at the bottom and the bathroom door needed a good push to close as it was dragging on the tile. The main thing to be aware of is the bed is no more than 4 feet to the door and you hear EVERYTHING that is happening in the hallway. It was a place to stay, but will find somewhere else next time we come up.”

”This is a cute place to stay if you’re only planning on being there for a few days, there is not much around the area and it’s more of a small stop you make if you have to rather than a longer stay. It was super clean and at first the staff were great at communicating, later we tried contacting the staff to checkout early or to ask for other amenities and were left for days without a response, so very disappointed with their “24/7 available communication,” because it didn’t seem like they were...

”This is an "old school" facility. However, the motel was maintained well and everything worked. It is clean but a little "dog-eared" here and there. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I slept very well. It was quiet. I enjoyed the view and the grassy area above the quay wall with Lake Superior lapping at the wall. The parking spots were wide and roomy. I might go back in the fall.”

”The room and property was beautiful and clean! They also offered healthy options for breakfast (and delicious muffins). Will choose this place again.”

”The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.”
