”It is a basic hotel room. Nothing fancy, the window on the front door needed to be cleaned, but inside the room everything was clean. The pillows and mattress were basic. I liked the screened door and windows to let the breeze in, and the microwave and fridge. You can't beat the price.”

We found out the day that we checked in that the reviews giving the 9.4 were “external” reviews and could not be accessed. ”It worked out fine for our needs but we were a little surprised when the bathroom was a separate building and this perhaps tainted our view. Bed was comfortable and the host provided a great breakfast. The weather was chilly so a nighttime trip to the "outhouse" (a nice bathroom but separate) was intimidating. They provide an in room commode making it just like old times on the farm.Great remote location in a farming community.”

”Mark was a fantastic host! Super helpful, personable and kind, he helped my mom and I carry in our bags and we enjoyed pleasant conversations with him. Heck, he even picked us some delicious fresh cucumbers from the garden! The property was beautiful and well maintained. I felt very safe and comfortable here. Any time I visit the area, I think I've certainly found a diamond in the rough that I will be renting again! My favourite part was the dock and remembering how beautiful my home community...
