Mackinaw trip
Property was perfect for my wife and I. Gorgeous views of Lake Huron and the bridge. Hosts had a lot of helpful suggestions and the homemade cookies were delicious. Location had easy access to Mackinaw City and the bridge to St Ignace and to ferry boats to Mackinaw Island.

Great little cottage with a gigantic view!
Enjoyed my mornings and evenings, looking out at the view with my beverage of choice. This was a central location to visit many areas in northern Michigan and the UP. The owners were very friendly and informational. The cottage was clean and comfortable and whatever you needed was nearby but you felt like you were very secluded because of the location near the lake. We definitely have this one on our list of favorites.

Perfect
This was a perfect quiet getaway. We brought our kayaks and we were able to kayak the coast and go to shore whenever we wanted. The weather was perfect during our 4 day stay. Close enough to all the excitement but far enough to be peaceful.

Great Week in Michigan
Bob and Diane are wonderful hosts. The property is clean, well-stocked and peaceful. We enjoyed our home base there while we explored the dark sky park, Mackinaw City, and Mackinac Island.

Perfect romantic getaway
We had an amazing time on our anniversary trip to this cabin! Very cozy place with a breathtaking view of Lake Huron. Sweet owners that checked to make sure everything was perfect but gave us our privacy too. Would definitely stay again if we decide to come back to Mackinaw!

very enjoyable -- perfect getaway
The property was well maintained, clean and full of needed amenities. We enjoyed the view and location immensely. When we weren't off doing things, it was great to sit outside and see Lk Huron and Mackinaw Island. Bob, the owner, came and chatted with us and gave us some great tips for places to eat. Just as described!
The cottage is as described. We enjoyed our stay and had no issues. The property is very clean and the view is beautiful. I enjoyed the fluffy bath towels, charmin soft toilet paper and warm showers. It’s very peaceful. You are very close to many popular places. Bring bug spray if your staying in the summer months. We brought our bikes, kayaks, and wood for fires. The owners were on site and very friendly. We hope to come back and stay again. I recommend this place!

Awesome
Location was great…. The view was breathtaking. Bob was a great host. You could tell that he loved his home and location. Everything that visitors needed was available. The only negative was… absolutely no TV service for the evenings

Thanks for your review.. TV service is spotty depending on weather. Most of the time it’s good and gets the major networks. But awesome WiFi and a smart TV work great. We also provide a DVD player with numerous DVD’s for your entertainment.

The Perfect Getaway!
The property was very clean and ready for us to check in upon our arrival. The owners were kind enough to check in with us one day prior too the trip to ensure all of our questions were answered. My sisters and I rented 3 of the available rooms for Labor Day. The cottage was for my husband and I and we loved it. Gorgeous view and such a cute little cabin all to ourselves.

Loved the Million Dollar View Cabin! The cabin was very cute and cozy. Beautiful view of the Mackinaw Bridge, Mackinaw Island, and the U.P.! Only a 10 minute drive to Mackinaw City. The hosts were amazing. We will be back!

Cute cottage with a spectacular view
The cottage was cozy, comfortable, and well equipped. The location is a short drive to Mackinaw City or Cheboygan. The owners had great suggestions for restaurants and attractions. We loved sitting on the deck looking at beautiful Lake Huron. The owners are Super nice and we had total privacy. We highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here for our mini honeymoon since we had to cancel our original plans due to Covid. The location was second to none and the views were amazing. It was in a perfect location inbetween Mackinac and Cheboygan. Overall great stay and absolutely plan on coming back here next summer.

Perfect lakefront getaway cabin for two.
We would easily come back to this cabin for a week of peaceful rest and relaxation. The cabin is well and comfortably furnished including a very comfortable deck with chairs and table. The rustic "porch swing" on the shoreline was a perfect setting for looking across the straits to the Mackinaw Bridge and Mackinaw Island. This cabin truly has a "Million Dollar View".

Nice little cottage!
This is a nice little cottage. The view was beautiful with a short walk right up to the lake! The owner was very friendly, and we didn't have any issues with the stay. It was a great 4 day getaway for my wife and I! We would stay here again!

Perfect for a quiet romantic getaway!
We were the only people staying on the property for a good portion of our trip and it was amazing. I loved sitting on the swing listening to the water and soaking up the view! It was perfect!

Pat, we were disappointed with the poor scores for your stay. It's always better for everyone if guests let us know of any issues as soon as they are found out. The owner would have been there in a flash to take care of them. The tripped breakers were likely due to plugging 2 space heaters into the same outlet. The owner would have been able to advise you on that. The hot water heater was repaired and future guests should be fine. Regards, Diane

We loved staying here! It was just minutes to Mackinaw City and Cheboygan, it was a quiet and peaceful property, the cottage was very clean, and the owner was very kind and provided all we needed. We loved spending time on the front deck as well as down by the water. It was a refreshing get-away place, and we would love to return!! 5 stars!

We loved our stay! The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the beach and fire pits there at night. Close enough to Macinaw City but far enough that it was very quiet and away from all the tourists. Highly recommend it for couples!

This one-room cabin truly has a "Million Dollar View".
We enjoyed three nights in the cottage right on the shore of Lake Huron with a great view of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. Everything needed for a stay was provided, but be sure to take additional paper products. We ate breakfasts there and found plenty of places to eat lunch and dinner, as well as much to do in the area. Campfires on the beach are wonderful, but too bad we only had enough firewood for one small fire. As nice as the cabin was, the real attraction is still the view. With all vacations the weather is critical; we had one day of rain and the other two days were beautiful. We would recommend a three-day stay.

This little cabin is perfect for a nice getaway! We had a great time, and everything was perfect!! They had every amenity that you could ever need. It was awesome to be able to come back to the cabin and check out the beautiful view of the bridge from the beach! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little R and R! The views are spectacular
The views are even better than described and it was a very relaxing place. A nice quiet place to get away from it all. Close to downtown Mackinac City and Cheboygan. We would definitely come back again! Only negative is the bed isn't very comfortable.
