”We came to Cheboygan to do volunteer work. As a result we were gone from 7:30 in the morning until 7:30 at night. We didn't have much time to enjoy all the place offers. ”The peaceful lakefront location is unbeatable and staff were very kind and responsive to our requests, and even upgraded us to a larger cabin. The clubhouse is also clean, bright and well-equipped. The cabins would be much more comfortable if they were upgraded to the same level as the clubhouse, e.g,, remove the carpets, add better lighting, and update bathrooms.”

”This was such a quaint little cabin. We were right on the lake. Once we left the paved road, I was getting a little concerned. It is really hidden back in the woods, but when we pulled up, the owner was right there to welcome us. He was so nice. It was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again!”

”Cabin is right on the lake. Very rustic. Host was a great communicator and answered when we reached out and did consistently check in. Understand this is a cabin in the woods, decor is not a concern to me but the place did not feel clean. The toilet backed up twice while we were there and the bathroom floor would get puddles from the toilet ( not overflow but it seemed the toilet was leaking from underneath). This was our cabin #1. I cannot speak for the other cabins.”
