”Had a wonderful stay. The property is situated in a quiet town which for us was located half way to our final destination so absolutely perfect. The house was huge and had absolutely everything you could want for a stay. Well equipped and our bed was so comfortable. ”This is a very classily converted old property with spacious rooms and flexible outdoor areas, beautifully planted. Lovely comfortable beds. The skies are incredibly dark for star-gazing, there is a lovely park in the grounds of the local chateau and although there is no bar in the village there is a good bread shop and a very nice restaurant (La Croix Verte). Amboise is only 5 mins drive away. We were there for the phenomenal Bastille Day fireworks.”

The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently. The only real negative was the checkin and checkout process as the place where we had to pick up and drop off the key was not close by especially if you were in a rush or didn’t have a car.
