”Good hotel with mediocre service and poor tasting buffet - That sums up the hotel rather nicely. We liked the hotel room and the facilities, nicely built! But staff and their service was stiff, regulated, non-personal and at times just bad. We couldnt get to rent their bikes because they had time regulations (?!) and when we ate the dinner buffet and found plastic piece around the sushi roll the waiter told without blinking an eye "that It is there on purpouse to keep The sushi fresh"...yeah,...

”Staff are helpful and polite. Stayed in room with lake view and it was quiet and peaceful (on Friday night). Breakfast variety is plenty too. Hotel provided complimentary fireflies watching as it happened to be fireflies mating season. It’s just a short walk to get public bus to Taichung HSR station and catching ferry at pier. There’s free 2 hours bicycle rental. If you are there on non peak season, they can allow u to use it for a couple hours. ”

”On the same street as Wyndham Sun Moon Lake, but cost 10x less. Good for 1-2nights stay. Clean place with private, lockable cabins, and very near the ITA Thao shopping street and pier. You can walk along the lake to the cable car station and the Nine Frogs Stack 九蛙疊像. Even though the opening hours of some food stores are quite unpredictable, there are plenty of options and two convenience stores around.”
