”Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

”This place needs a total rebuild. Absolutely disgusting room. Carpet ripped, baseboard modeling hanging off wall, bathroom door would not open all the way and worn furnishings.”

”The place looks kinda nice in pictures, but in reality i got a room with a broken "hot tub" that when i turned it on spit out bugs and there were dead bugs on the floor. I decided to leave and stay somewhere else. Maybe i was unlucky in the room but I would stay far away from this place.”

”For one night the hotel was good. The bed was okay. Room was clean. Water pressure in bathroom sink was low but shower was good. Parking was free which is nice. No complaints.”

”Coming from out of town I had no idea what to expect. It was probably one of the most outdated and least maintained hotels I have ever experienced. Trash all over the exterior, no hot water in our room, no daily cleaning service. The rooms have not been updated in about 20 years. The room next to us had the window open to the exterior and all I could see was mold and the ceiling completely torn apart. I highly recommend not staying here.”

”It was fine. Honestly, this hotel was WAY overpriced. Pretty much on par with any Quality Inn or La Quinta type of hotel, but they charge 4-star hotel prices. The room was very basic. They gave us free snacks in the room, which was nice -- but certainly not worth paying close to $500 a night. We paid that price for a gorgeous boutique hotel in Manhattan, and this place wasn't even close to being that level of hotel. ”They forgot to clean our room the second night we were there so we had dirty towels in our room all day garbage, and had to go to the desk to get stuff for the next day cause we were checking out. The front desk, staff apologize, but we were not compensated at all.”

”Filthy room that reeked of smoke even though we got a non smoking room. Smoke detector was covered by plastic bag. Stains and cigarette burns on sheets. Mold on the bathroom walls. Sink and shower head leak. Air conditioner was broken room was hot. Beds were noisy. Hotel in a really unsafe area. Do not recommend staying here.”
