”This is absolutely the best rental property we’ve had the pleasure of staying at, ever. Not only was the cabin itself lovely but everything was spotless, and I’ve never stayed in a home so well stocked with what’s needed. The beds and furniture were comfy, we cooked many meals in the kitchen and on the grill, the area is beautiful and that view from the porch was magic. I will absolutely be back again - this is a cannot miss property that is well and thoughtfully cared for!”

”I've wanted to stay in a log cabin for some time now, and this one will be hard to top. It's forested, end of the road location make it a quiet respite from a frenetic world, although nearby downtown Saluda is far from frenetic - and that's a good thing! The deck puts you right in the middle of the forest, and the only sounds we heard were the running creek down the mountain from us and occasional birdsong. We ate out a lot but could've prepared a variety of meals with the kitchen...

”We had wonderful time spending our Thanksgiving holydays in this property. We would really like to thank our host Mrs. Liz for convincing us to come when we were having second thoughts as we thought that the area and property were damaged by the hurricane Helen. The house is very convenient at all 3 levels and views are amazing. ”We stayed here for my wife's 74th birthday and she loved it so much that once we left in the morning of our last day we had to come back because she (I believe purposely haha) left her earrings on the bedside table. Anyway, the place was perfect for the two of us. We chose a place that was not too far to go to several hikes and while we did not expect to use the hot tub, it turned out that it was a great way after long days of hiking to relax in for 15 minutes. ”This vacation home is perfect for a couple or a couple with a teen that wants their own space. The location was excellent. A few miles from downtown Chimney Rock, right on a Lake Lure quiet cove, and a 1 minute drive from a nice lakeside restaurant. We very much enjoyed waking up early in the morning, making a cup of coffee, and sitting on the balcony off the bedroom to watch the mist rise off the lake as the morning fisherman slowly moved past.
