Asunnot – Cheticamp

”The property was clean. The host was wonderful and readily available. They provided excellent directions and information about local places to eat, activities, and where to get supplies.”

”Great place, beautiful location, staff friendly. Food was great.”

”Spotlessly clean, rooms as advertised on vrbo, quick clear communication from host...perfect location to explore Cape Breton. Check in seamless as well. Would stay here again. Pro tip...bring binoculars to see wildlife on ocean right in front of the rental.”

”Room was excellent however we did not have any hot water, nor did we have wifi ,the staff was not available, we called the office number provided with no answer. At 10PM someone entered our room startling us, our door was locked so this person entering had to have a key that worked for our room. Checking out the next morning there was no one at the office, I called the number, the person answering would not come to the desk he did not want to hear our concerns this was 10:30 in the morning,...

”An Absolutely Wonderful Stay – A True Home Away from Home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stayed at Chalet Gedouque on September 23 with our dear friends and my dog, and what an unforgettable experience it was! This charming cottage is, without a doubt, the most welcoming and beautifully appointed cottage we have ever stayed in. Honestly, the experience felt like staying at a six-star luxury retreat! Every corner of the cottage reflects the owners' incredible attention to detail and thoughtful care. From the...

”Fabulous home !!!”

”Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!”

”Excellent private location, perfect for an escape from it all. Very clean home. Well maintained and thoughtfully stocked with all the comforts and necessities of your own home. The location is close to town and all the services and activities of the region. The hosts were attentive, easy to reach, and provided lots of ideas and suggestions on what to see and do in the area. The sunsets were spectacular. Overall, a high quality experience and worth the money.”

”We enjoyed our stay. Great value and certainly as advertised. The property is close to the road so may not be as suitable for young families. There is definitely some road noise but otherwise a good spot.”

”I hadnt realized this was in an older RV, somehow. I thought it would be a small cabin. To get into bed was a little tricky to not hit your head on the overhang. There was a very tight space either side of the bed to get into it. The bathroom is tiny. The larger room is nice and bright, and the location in the woods is beautiful. It was very close to the concert we attended in Cheticamp. The owners had a fun sense of humor with labeling light switches and key chains.”
