”We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Each of our five guests (two couples, one single!) had their own floor and bathroom. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, drank wine while watching the sunrise on the patio, and were transported to the past walking...

”What a lovely place. It was perfect. So peaceful, had everything we needed and not too far from town where there are great little restaurants and markets. We loved our stay here and the wine is wonderful as well! Also recommend the cooking class with Laura. It was a great experience ”

”This manor house offered us a nice base when we were visiting Chianti wine area. It is very beautiful and cosy, although it is not as small and home like as some of the smaller countryside hotels/pensions, it has good services, up-class restaurant, swimming pool area and nice view from the hill. In a 15 min drive there are several places to take a look at (like Siena), as well as other good restaurants and wine farms. ”

”I will dream of this property forever. It has the most magnificent view of San Gimignano and the countryside, and is literally a 5 minute drive into town. It was the perfect escape for our honeymoon this summer. The only thing I wish we had, was more time to enjoy the hotel. The breakfast was super tasty! ”

”Hotel was very nice. The staff was extremely friendly. Food was good too. Easy to go by bus to Florence. Our room was little bit dark, only small window. I think it was because the building is quite old.”

Pyörien vuokraus onnistuu. Itse vuokrasimme sähköpyörät päiväksi. Opastettuja kierroksia myös saatavilla. Hotellissa järjestetään häitä ja paikan päällä ymmärtää miksi. Puitteet on kohdallaan. Olimme syyskuun viimeinen viikko. Sadonkorjuu oli menossa ja tarjolla oli mahdollisuus osallistua sadonkorjuuseen....

”We stayed in the hotel 4 nights. We booked family roo We booked family room for 3 nights and mobile home for one night. But in some reason we got family room for 2 nights and mobile home for 2 nights which was pity because we loved the family room it was beautifully decorated, clean, lovely to stay. We could go back there later on...In mobile home we had more privacy but some equipment were missing from the kitchen and it felt tiny after the family room.People were kind in reception but not so...
