”Wonderful hotel, attentive staff, great location, very good value for a 4/6 bed suite, ideal for a family, spa facilities were excellent, indoor and outdoor pool, less than a ten minutes walk to a fantastic beach, Biarritz only 15 minutes drive away, also local buses just outside of the hotel. Local shops a short walk away. It is located on a golf course, we do not golf but the bonus was that it is set in beautiful grounds.”

”Spacious room with enclosed deck area although directly overlooked by balconies of rooms above. Had hoped there would be bit of grass in the ‘garden’ for the dog as per other hotels on our trip, but totally covered with decking meant we had to take dog through hotel to entrance for a wee first thing in the morning. Hotel right next to public beach with nice beach bar and other amenities.”

”THIS is the place to stay when staying near Saint Jean De Luz. We actually decided to book here last-minute after our other hotel (highly rated, btw) was lackluster and we wanted to keep the good vacation vibes going. This is a renovated estate with the original building dating from the 1600s. We stayed in the smallest room, but even this was super well appointed and comfortable for two people. The pool area is amazing, and it's so nice to have a Michelin-rated restaurant as part of the auberge....

”It's truly a boutique hotel, personally owned by one man since 2005. It took him 2 years to renovate a neglected 19th century stable and create a luxurious retreat. The hotel only has 8 rooms (making it the smallest 5-star hotel in France), and it's open during Biarritz' high season, only 4 months.
