First of all, no fire pit.Switches that don't seem to go to anything. Recommendation: Switches that DO something should be labeled.In two of the rooms the ceiling fans/lights had been turned off using the pull chains making it initially confusing to turn them on - why would they have been left that way?!?!Why would you have water turned off under the sinks on the day guests are arriving?Coffee table hadn't been placed back in the middle of the living room rug. We had to move it.Kitchen cupboards and drawers inconsistently stocked. Cleaning crew empties dishwasher, putting things wherever.Kitchen garbage hadn't been emptied when we arrived.Stovetop wasn't completely clean when we arrived.Furnishings used, worn, poor quality.King bed - fancy frame creaks whenever someone rolls over.Other than the ribbons on the kitchen cupboard doors, this rental had no "personal touches" like all the other non-hotel rentals we've stayed in.Recommendation: If a guest has access to a closet then it should be organized.Recommendation: bedside lights in bedrooms.SUMMARY: "Turn-over" crew needs accountability and host favors form over function.
