This was a very interesting experience for my wife and I. We arrived late, 6:30 pm after staff had left for the day, but had been provided codes to access the property.
We found ourselves alone in the building and tried a couple of rooms before finding ours, as we were not given a room number. The room was spacious, bright and clean. We enjoyed the lounging couch for two and the bed was very comfortable.
As this was a B&B designated accommodation, we expected someone in the morning for breakfast preparation. We availed ourselves with a pod coffee and a tea while we waited for staff. We waited until 9:30 am at which point we messaged the property stating that we were leaving. I received a response 12 hours later!! We found breakfast at a nearby restaurant, but what happened to the second ‘B’ in the B&B we stayed at? The lack of breakfast was disappointing and added an extra expense for something we had paid for.
Nevertheless, the missed breakfast at Sasquatch Crossing Eco Lodge is not a deal breaker for us. We would stay here again.
The one star rating for staff was because we did not meet a staff member. So, in no way could we rate someone we never met!
