”Property homely, comfortable and peaceful. Adjoining hosts wine growing & tasting business sampling is a must. Plenty of opportunities to walk around the area/vineyards, or take trips to the many fairly close chñteau. The hosts are friendly mostly only French spoken, but we were able to communicate with a few words. A very good place to stay.”

”Bei unserer Ankunft sind wir herzlich begrĂŒĂŸt worden. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr schön eingerichtet und ist ideal fĂŒr eine Familie mit 2 Kindern. Es verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 2 Terrassen und an kĂŒhleren Tagen kann gern der Kamin benutzt werden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut: KĂŒche, Wohnzimmer, Bad und Schlafzimmer bieten alles fĂŒr einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefĂŒhlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet; in das Zentrum sind es ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß....

”The setting is absolutely stunning. We had great weather and access to the river was terrific. Such a relaxing place. Lots of wildlife around including European beavers. An incredible range of things to do in the surrounding area and for the British a relatively easy drive down from the channel ports. ”

”Very quirky french property. 3 bedrooms upstairs in main building with one in an annexe with its own small lounge & toilet. Large very well equipped kitchen. Great size lounge & dining area with ceiling fan. The pool is fantastic, heated perfectly and in a separate poolhouse. Its 2 metres deep throughout so be aware. ”Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll und ökologisch hervorragend hergestellt. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist sehr gemĂŒtlich. Man kann hervorragend entspannen und die NĂ€he zu den Schlössern ist wunderbar. ”A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.”

”The gite was perfect for us. Close to Chinon but in a secluded, beautiful area.Check in was simple - Frederic was there to meet us and made us feel very welcome. The gite was immaculate and well equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.The grounds of the chateaux are beautiful and we particularly enjoyed using the pool.An excellent stay.”
